Accessibility on Returpack Svenska AB’s websites and apps
Returpack Svenska AB is responsible for the websites and apps. These platforms are intended to serve as sources of information as well as for purchases and/or case management related to the deposit system.
We strive to make our digital services accessible to as many people as possible. Here we describe how Returpack works to ensure good accessibility to our products and services and how you can provide feedback to us.
We continuously update all digital components that may lead to a transaction or conversion. This includes our webshop, parts of pantamera.nu, and Returpack’s Pantamera apps (for iOS and Android).
How we tested the websites and apps
We have reviewed pantamera.nu, webshop.pantamera.nu, and Returpack’s Pantamera apps. The tests are based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level A and AA.
The websites have been manually reviewed, both in HTML mode and visually, using the Wave plugin.
The apps were reviewed on an iPhone (13, iOS 18) and an Android phone (OnePlus 8T, Android v. 13). The review was conducted visually, using inspectors and accessibility tools available for each operating system. For contrast measurements, Figma was used with a plugin called Contrast.
We have worked with external accessibility experts. We are aware that parts of the websites and apps are not fully accessible. See the section below on content that is not accessible. We are systematically working to address the identified issues in relevant areas.
Content That Is Not Accessible – Known Issues and Limitations
Webshop (webshop.pantamera.nu):
Alt and link texts:
For example, the logo lacks alt and link text, making it unclear for tab navigation and screen readers. Images and videos currently lack alt texts or have non-descriptive alt texts.
Tab order:
Filters on the product page currently appear last in the tab order, even though they are at the top of the page.
Heading structure:
Needs revision so that headings are placed directly in an <h1> or similar, not nested in a <span>, and that each page has headings in the correct order. A style guide was developed in May/June 2025 and will be implemented.
Text and background color contrast:
Color adjustments are needed in the graphic profile to ensure approved contrast in headers, blocks, teasers, text links, and buttons. A style guide was developed in May/June 2025 and will be implemented.
Error messages:
Informative error messages are currently missing. This will be reviewed.
Visual focus indicators on all clickable elements:
Poor contrast for focus indicators.
Language:
The correct language should be assigned to words. For example, the word “new” is still marked as Swedish.
Pantamera Apps (iOS and Android):
Headings:
Many texts that visually appear as headings are not marked as such in the code.
Uppercase letters:
The use of uppercase letters should be reviewed, as they should often be styled rather than coded as uppercase.
Link input fields to labels:
Not all fields are currently linked to a label, making it difficult to understand what should be entered.
Keyboard or screen reader navigation:
Only relevant objects should receive focus. Currently, hidden or background elements can be accessed via keyboard/screen reader navigation.
Tab order:
Important information may be missed by screen reader users, as focus sometimes jumps to elements further down, such as when entering a reference code or phone number.
Website (pantamera.nu):
Alt texts for images and videos:
Some images and videos currently lack alt texts or have non-descriptive alt texts.
Keyboard navigation:
The hamburger menu cannot currently be accessed with Tab on smaller screens. The tab structure in the menu needs clarification, and all tabbable elements need focus indicators.
Heading structure:
Needs to follow the H1, H2, H3 structure. Only one H1 heading per page.
Form error messages:
Error messages currently appear at the bottom of the page, below the form. This will be reviewed.
Login time for “Mina Sidor” (My Pages):
When logging in with Bank-ID, the QR code is currently available for 30 seconds. This time needs to be extended.
Video audio descriptions:
Most videos currently lack audio descriptions.
Visual focus indicators on all clickable elements:
Some clickable elements currently lack focus indicators. The contrast of the focus indicators also needs to be improved.
Other Websites Linked to pantamera.nu
Our websites pantresan.nu, butiksstatistik.pantamera.nu, kundstatistik.pantamera.nu, varumarkesportal.pantamera.nu, historienom.pantamera.nu, humorstipendiet.nu, schysstinnebandy.nu, and pantagrammet.nu have not been specifically reviewed for accessibility. Known issues exist here as well, and we will primarily focus on reviewing alt texts, keyboard navigation, and text/background color contrasts.
