Why isn't the deposit being increased more?

The deposit is something that the consumer both pays when purchasing and gets back when the packaging is deposited.

Returpack's role is to ensure the collection and recycling of packaging material. We believe that the new deposit is at the right level to ensure that drinks in cans and PET bottles do not lose their attractiveness to consumers compared to other packaging and at the same time helps to ensure continued good collection of used packaging.
